Russian Ambassador Presents Letters of Credence to President Paudel

Kathmandu — His Excellency Mr. Aleksei V. Surovtsev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Nepal, presented his Letters of Credence to Rt. Hon. President of Nepal Mr. Ramchandra Paudel on Wednesday.

Ambassador Surovtsev presented his credentials during a formal ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhawan in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, on 21 May 2026.

Following the credentials ceremony, the President of Nepal and the Russian Ambassador held a protocol conversation, during which both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further developing friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
