Putin and King of Bahrain Hold Phone Call, Stress Political Solution to Iran Crisis

Moscow — President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held a telephone conversation on May 25, 2026.

Both sides confirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation between Russia and Bahrain in trade and economy, finance and investment, and cultural and humanitarian affairs.

While discussing the situation in the Middle East, the two leaders emphasised the need to quickly achieve a political and diplomatic resolution to the crisis surrounding Iran, while fully respecting the interests of all states in the region.
