Tourism to Election Bills Up for Discussion in Parliament Today

Kathmandu — A meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled to convene at 11:00 AM today. According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the probable agenda includes a proposal to be presented by Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Khadakaraj Paudel for consideration of the ‘Tourism Bill, 2081’.
Similarly, on behalf of Prime Minister Walendra Shah, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sovita Gautam will present a proposal to send the ‘National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081’ to the relevant committee for clause-wise discussion.
The Parliament Secretariat also stated that proposals will be tabled for clause-wise discussion and passage of the ‘House of Representatives Member Election (First Amendment) Bill, 2083’ and the ‘Voter Roll (First Amendment) Bill, 2083’.
