Russia-Serbia Ties Strengthened in Discussions at St. Petersburg Forum

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Nenad Popovic, Minister Without Portfolio in the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Co-Chair of the Russian-Serbian Intergovernmental Committee on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, held talks on June 4 on the sidelines of the 29th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The discussions focused on strengthening Russian-Serbian ties with an emphasis on practical interaction, implementing existing agreements, and pursuing a settlement in Kosovo based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
