Youth Arrested with Suspected Brown Heroin in Kakarbhitta

Jhapa. Police have arrested a young man from Kakarbhitta Bazaar in Mechinagar Municipality–6 with a substance suspected to be brown heroin.

According to police, the arrested person has been identified as 23-year-old Gopal Malaha of Duwagadhi, Mechinagar Municipality–14. He was arrested on Wednesday morning with 3 grams and 200 milligrams of the suspected narcotic substance.

A joint team deployed from the Area Police Office, Kakarbhitta, and the Narcotics Control Bureau branch office in Kakarbhitta arrested Malaha with the substance, police said.

Police said further investigation into the case is underway.
