Russian singer Oleg Gazmanov has said that emerging performers should work harder to improve their vocal abilities and stop performing to pre-recorded tracks.
In an interview with the Russian news agency TASS, Gazmanov said young artists should avoid trying to replicate the success of already established performers and instead seek their own distinctive path in music.
According to Gazmanov, an artist’s lasting identity and success depend on originality, continuous practice and the ability to perform live.
