Minister Rawal and Chinese Ambassador Zhang Discuss Development Cooperation and Digital Land Administration

Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration Pratibha Rawal held a courtesy meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming on Friday.
According to Minister Rawal’s secretariat, the meeting at the ministry focused on Nepal–China bilateral cooperation, development projects, health infrastructure and the digital transformation of land administration.
The two sides particularly discussed the Project Aid to Nepal programme supported by the government of China’s Xizang Autonomous Region, the upgrading of the Civil Service Hospital and the establishment of a CAR-T cell laboratory at the hospital for cancer treatment.
They also exchanged views on possible areas of cooperation in modernising land administration through technology, simplifying and improving public service delivery and promoting good governance.
Ambassador Zhang said the ministry’s initiatives to improve service delivery, digitally transform land administration and strengthen good governance were effective.
The meeting also covered ways to advance Nepal–China development cooperation programmes more effectively and further strengthen coordination between the two countries.
