Prohibitory Order Imposed in Birgunj from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

The Parsa district administration has imposed a prohibitory order in Birgunj Metropolitan City to maintain peace and security.
The District Administration Office, Parsa, issued the order under Section 6, Subsection 3A of the Local Administration Act, 2028, following a decision by the District Security Committee.
According to the notice issued by Chief District Officer Bhola Dahal, the order will remain in force from 5:00 p.m. on Shrawan 14, 2083, until 6:00 a.m. on Shrawan 15, 2083.
The restricted area extends to Pratima Chowk and the Bus Park Bypass Road in the east, Tilabe Bridge in the west, Gandak Chowk in the north and Shankaracharya Gate in the south.
During the specified period, gatherings of more than five people will be prohibited within the designated area. Public meetings, rallies, processions and demonstrations will also not be permitted.
The administration has warned that anyone violating the order will be taken into custody and subjected to legal action.
Authorities said the restrictions were introduced to prevent possible unrest and maintain public order amid rising tensions and demonstrations in different parts of the country.
