President Advises Prime Minister to Restore Calm by Engaging All Sides

President Ramchandra Paudel has advised Prime Minister Balendra Shah to act with restraint and bring the situation under control by taking political parties and all other concerned sides into confidence.
Prime Minister Shah visited the President’s Office at Sheetal Niwas on Thursday night to brief the President on the violent incidents in Sunsari, Siraha and other districts, as well as the latest situation in the country.
During the meeting, President Paudel urged the government to move forward seriously and cautiously to ensure public safety, maintain law and order, and preserve social harmony. He also advised the Prime Minister to seek a solution through coordination with political parties, local communities and other stakeholders.
Prime Minister Shah informed the President about the government’s efforts to control the violence, maintain peace and security, and restore normalcy in the affected areas.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shah also briefed Vice President Ramsahaya Prasad Yadav by telephone on the country’s latest situation and the measures being taken by the government to maintain peace and security.
