Jaynagar–Janakpur–Bhangaha Train Service Suspended During Curfew

Train services along the Jaynagar–Janakpur–Bhangaha railway section have been suspended following the imposition of a curfew by the local administration in Dhanusha.

Nepal Railway Company Limited issued a notice on Friday stating that services on the route would remain suspended for as long as the curfew order is in effect.

The notice, issued by Acting Administration Chief Ajay Kumar Singh, said the decision was taken to ensure passenger safety in accordance with the curfew order issued by the Chief District Officer and a letter sent by the District Administration Office, Dhanusha, on Thursday.

The company said train services would resume after the curfew is lifted.
