Curfew Imposed in Parts of Rajbiraj Until Further Notice

A curfew has been imposed in several areas of Rajbiraj Municipality, the headquarters of Saptari district, from 5:00 am on Friday until further notice.

The District Administration Office issued a notice stating that the curfew was enforced following a decision by the District Security Committee to maintain peace and security in the district.

According to the order issued by Chief District Officer Shyam Krishna Thapa, the curfew covers the area extending from the Khando River in the east to Judani–Dhalahi along the Postal Highway in the west.

The restricted zone also stretches from Basbitti Chowk on Rupani Road in the north to the Koshi Western Main Canal along the border of Bishnupur Rural Municipality in the south.
