Seven-Point Agreement Reached Between Ganesh Yadav’s Family and Home Minister

A seven-point agreement has been reached between the family of Ganesh Yadav, who died in an incident at Motipur in Aurahi Rural Municipality–2 on Shrawan 14, and Home Minister Sudhan Gurung.

Home Minister Gurung and the deceased’s guardian, Rambriksha Yadav, signed the agreement on Shrawan 15.

Under the agreement, the government will immediately initiate the process of declaring Ganesh Yadav a martyr. His family will also receive financial assistance of Rs 1 million from the government.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has committed to conducting an impartial and effective investigation into the incident and immediately initiating legal action against those found responsible in accordance with prevailing laws.

The recommendations and suggestions contained in the report to be submitted by the investigation committee will be implemented at the earliest possible date. The government has also agreed to provide employment to one qualified member of the deceased’s family.

In coordination with the local government, necessary initiatives will be taken to construct a memorial park and a statue in Yadav’s memory in Aurahi.

The Home Ministry has further agreed to arrange free education for the deceased’s mother and wife, as well as free medical treatment for the family at government hospitals.

Following the agreement, Yadav’s final rites have been scheduled for 10:00 am on Shrawan 16.
