Foundation Stone Laid for 16-Room School Building in Khajura

The foundation stone has been laid for a 16-room building to be constructed at Shree Janakalyan Secondary School in Badripur through a partnership between Khajura Rural Municipality and the Government of India.

Khajura Rural Municipality Chairman Dambar Bahadur BK and Counsellor at the Embassy of India in Nepal Gitanjali Brandon jointly laid the foundation stone during a formal programme organised by the rural municipality.

According to the municipality, the new building will strengthen the school’s physical infrastructure and provide students with a safer and more organised learning environment.

Local elected representatives, members of the school management committee, teachers, students, parents, security personnel and local residents attended the programme.

The construction of the building is expected to contribute to educational development in the Badripur area and help address the shortage of classrooms resulting from the school’s growing student population.

Khajura Rural Municipality said it has prioritised educational infrastructure development and has been working through partnerships to expand school buildings, classrooms and other essential facilities.
