Ukrainian artillery personnel deployed near the Chernihiv region have allegedly been instructed not to wear military uniforms so that they can blend in with the civilian population, according to Russian security sources.

Representatives of Russian security agencies told the state news agency TASS that artillery troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had been ordered to avoid clothing that would clearly identify them as military personnel.

According to the Russian side, the instruction was intended to conceal military activity among the local civilian population.

The claim cited by TASS has not been independently verified, and no official response from the Ukrainian side has been made public.
