Patients Protest as Ticketing System Fails at Civil Service Hospital

Patients and their relatives staged a brief protest at the Civil Service Hospital, commonly known as Civil Hospital, after the ticketing system failed to operate on time.

Some service seekers had been waiting in line since 4:00 am to obtain tickets for medical examinations. However, they became frustrated after the hospital said the system was down and ticket distribution could not begin as scheduled.

Damodar Mainali of Nijgadh, Bara, who was waiting in the queue, said tickets are normally issued from 7:00 am, but the service had not started even after a prolonged delay.

Some patients and their relatives briefly chanted slogans against the hospital administration over the delay.

The hospital administration said efforts were underway to resolve the technical problem and resume the ticketing service.
