Average Pension in Russia Rises by Nearly 10,000 Rubles in Five Years

The average pension in Russia has increased by nearly 10,000 rubles over the past five years.

According to data from Russia’s Social Fund reviewed by the state news agency TASS, the average pension stood at 25,401 rubles as of July 1, 2026.

In 2021, the average pension payment was 15,801 rubles. The figures show that the average amount rose by 9,600 rubles during the period.

The Russian government has continued to adjust pensions and other social security payments in response to inflation and changes in the cost of living.
