Dhulikhel and Ali Prefecture Seek to Strengthen Sister-City Relations

An interaction programme has been held to further strengthen the sister-city relationship between Dhulikhel Municipality and Ali Prefecture in Xizang, China.
According to Dhulikhel Municipality, representatives of both sides exchanged experiences and views on areas of common interest, including tourism, trade, investment, education, culture, the “Healthy City” concept, sustainable development and climate action.
During the interaction with the visiting delegation from Ali Prefecture, the two sides held constructive discussions on identifying potential areas of future cooperation and expanding their development partnership.
The municipality said the visit is expected to deepen friendship, mutual trust, cultural ties and long-term development cooperation between Dhulikhel and Ali Prefecture.
Elected representatives and officials of Dhulikhel Municipality, along with representatives of the Hotel Association Nepal–Dhulikhel, the Dhulikhel Chamber of Commerce and Industry and various organisations, participated in the programme.
Dhulikhel Municipality also reaffirmed its commitment to making international cooperation more effective while continuing its efforts to develop a prosperous, sustainable and globally connected municipality.
