Russian Military Expert Claims Kherson Evacuation Is Being Used to Send Untrained Men to Front

Ukrainian authorities are mobilizing military-age men during evacuation operations in Kherson and sending them to the front without adequate training, Russian military expert Andrey Marochko has claimed.

Speaking to TASS, Marochko said forced evacuations underway in several settlements of the Kherson region are also being linked to military mobilization. According to him, men deemed eligible for service are being mobilized during the evacuation process and sent to the line of combat contact without completing even basic military training.

Earlier, Alexander Prokudin, head of the Kiev-controlled regional military administration in Kherson, called on residents to evacuate the city after serious damage was reported at the local thermal power plant.

Marochko further claimed that men mobilized from the Kherson region are being sent to difficult sections of the front. He also alleged that Ukrainian forces are deliberately withholding electricity from a number of settlements dependent on the damaged thermal power plant.

The claims are based on statements from a Russian military source and have not been independently verified or immediately confirmed by the Ukrainian side.
