Russia and Egypt Discuss Persian Gulf, Sudan and Ukraine

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister G.E. Borisenko met Egyptian Ambassador to Moscow Hamdy Shaaban on September 3 at the ambassador’s request.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the two sides discussed current international issues, with particular attention to developments surrounding the Persian Gulf, Sudan and Ukraine.

The meeting also covered practical aspects of the multifaceted Russia-Egypt partnership, including the schedule of upcoming bilateral activities and joint events.
