Russia’s Monthly Minimum Wage Reaches 27,093 Roubles

Russia’s federal monthly minimum wage rose to 27,093 roubles in 2026, an increase of 14,963 roubles from the 2020 level of 12,130 roubles.

Igor Balynin, an associate professor at the Financial University under the Russian government, told TASS that the minimum wage was 22,440 roubles in 2025. The year-on-year increase is therefore 4,653 roubles.

The new federal minimum wage took effect on January 1, 2026.
