Courts May Confiscate Vehicles in Three Types of Traffic Offences: Russian Interior Ministry

Dragon Media News Desk
Courts may confiscate a driver’s vehicle in three types of offences involving traffic violations, Russia’s Interior Ministry has said.
According to the ministry’s press centre, a vehicle may be confiscated if a person who has previously received an administrative penalty for driving under the influence drives while intoxicated again.
A vehicle may also be confiscated if a driver who has been disqualified from driving violates traffic rules. The ministry said confiscation may likewise apply when a driver who has been disqualified and subjected to an administrative penalty operates a vehicle.
