Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle Leaves for Thailand to Attend World Bank–IMF Annual Meetings

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has departed for Bangkok, Thailand, to attend the joint annual meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund.
During the meetings, which will be attended by finance ministers from around the world, Wagle is scheduled to take part in more than 16 bilateral and multilateral meetings and discussions.
He is accompanied by Finance Secretary Dr. Ghanshyam Upadhyaya, Joint Secretary Amrit Lamsal, head of the International Economic Relations Division, and the finance minister’s private officers Madhav Bhandari and Gajendra Bhattarai.
Wagle is scheduled to return to Nepal on Kartik 4.
