Bharat Dahal Says Police Have Yet to Return His Mobile Phone

Political analyst and Trimul Party chair Bharat Dahal says police have not returned his mobile phone, which they took on Ashoj 4. He alleges that people holding the phone have been answering calls on Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram and Viber and speaking as if they were him.

In a social media post, Dahal said people should not be harassed on cybercrime allegations without cause. He said impersonating him through his phone would bring no benefit to those involved.

Dahal urged the public not to call or send messages to the communication apps he uses.
