Trump Denies White House Role in Restricting Ukraine’s Access to Starshield

U.S. President Donald Trump has denied that the White House was involved in restricting the Ukrainian military’s access to Starshield satellite communications services. He said he had not issued such an order and did not believe SpaceX Chief Executive Elon Musk had done so either.
Asked who had restricted Ukraine’s access, Trump said he did not know. He said he understood that Starshield was operating as it always had. He also said he was unsure whether access had actually been restricted.
The previous day, Reuters reported, citing sources, that the order to restrict Ukraine’s access to Starshield had come from the White House. Trump’s latest remarks contradicted that report.
