Weather Expected to Remain Mostly Clear Across Nepal on Bada Dashain

The Meteorological Forecasting Division said the weather across Nepal is expected to remain mostly clear today, the main day of Bada Dashain. Partly cloudy conditions, light rain and snowfall are possible in a few places in the Himalayan and hilly regions.

The division forecast partly cloudy skies over the Himalayan and hilly regions this afternoon, with mostly clear conditions in the Tarai. Light rain may occur in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces. Light rain and snowfall are also possible in parts of the Himalayan region.

Tonight, the Himalayan and hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces are expected to be partly cloudy. Fog or mist may develop in a few Tarai locations in the morning.

On Thursday, the day after Bada Dashain, partly cloudy conditions are forecast in the Himalayan and hilly regions. Light rain and snowfall may occur at one or two places in the Himalayan region, while the Tarai is expected to remain mostly clear, the division said.
