President Paudel to Receive Bada Dashain Tika at 10:26 a.m.; No Public Ceremony Planned

President Ramchandra Paudel is scheduled to receive tika, jamara and blessings from priests at the auspicious time of 10:26 a.m. on Wednesday, the main day of Bada Dashain. The ceremony will take place at the President’s Office in Sheetal Niwas, Press Adviser Kiran Pokharel said.

The President has traditionally offered tika to members of the public in previous years, but the public ceremony has not been held since last year. No public tika programme is planned this year either, citing the difficult circumstances facing the country and the absence of a peaceful and festive atmosphere.
