Religious programmes involving clerics from Bangladesh and the Philippines have been held at two mosques in Gorkha and Pokhara. A special worship and music programme was also organised at a church in Doti.

A five-member group led by Bangladeshi cleric Mohammed Daud Islam has been taking part in religious activities for several days at Jame Mosque in Harmatari, Ward 6 of Gorkha Municipality. The group reportedly shared guidance on religious discipline with Muslim worshippers and led prayers.

At Jame Bilal Mosque in Pokhara’s Manavadhikar Chowk, a seven-member group—six people including Bangladeshi cleric Mohammed Sheikh Bakhtiar Rahman, and Filipino cleric Jamal Sulaiman Abdullah—reportedly shared religious knowledge with around three dozen worshippers and led prayers.

Around 45 people attended a programme at Ashish Church in Dipayal, Doti, on Wednesday, chaired by Pastor Garblal Tamang. The service included a sermon, hymns, group singing and prayer, organisers said.
