International Competition Invites Entries on Traditional Values

Dragon Media Newsroom

The international competition “Russia – a Country of Traditional Values” is being held with the support of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Rossotrudnichestvo and the Russkiy Mir Foundation.

Participants are invited to choose one value—family, friendship, mutual assistance, respect for elders, love of their homeland or historical memory—and show how it is reflected in their country. They must also take an action that demonstrates the chosen value.

The competition has three categories: drawing for children aged 7 to 10, and a one-page presentation and a video of up to 90 seconds for participants aged 7 and older. The presentation and video must be prepared in Russian and the participant’s own language.

Participation is free. Each participant will receive an electronic certificate and an invitation to the award ceremony at the National Centre “Russia” in Moscow. The rules and application form, including a separate English form for international participants, are available on the competition’s official page.

Entries must be submitted by December 20, 2026.
