Russia Launches Six Group Strikes on Ukraine in One Week, 193 Prisoners of War Exchanged

Moscow — The Russian Armed Forces carried out six group strikes over the past week in response to terrorist attacks launched by Ukraine against civilian facilities in the Russian Federation, according to a weekly summary released by the Russian Defence Ministry on Saturday.
Meanwhile, under a prisoner-of-war exchange between Russia and Ukraine, 193 Russian servicemen were returned from territory controlled by the Ukrainian side, while the same number of Ukrainian POWs were handed back by Russia.
On the diplomatic front, Russian Defence Minister Andrei Belousov held talks with Chinese Minister of National Defence Admiral Dong Jun, who is in Russia on an official visit. The meeting reportedly covered matters of bilateral military cooperation.
The Russian Defence Ministry also released footage showing explosive ordnance disposal specialists, artillery units, and drone pilots in action. Snipers of the 61st Guards Marine Brigade, part of the Tsentr Group of Forces, have been honing their skills in preparation for combat missions, the ministry stated.
Meanwhile, servicemen of the Tsentr Group of Forces have continued to provide comprehensive humanitarian assistance to civilians in Krasnoarmeysk, the Russian Defence Ministry informed.
