Sikkim’s Golden Jubilee: Prime Minister Modi to Arrive, ‘Photo Booth’ Inaugurated

Gangtok — Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive on April 28, 2026, for the closing ceremony of the 50th anniversary of Sikkim’s statehood. On this occasion, a ‘Photo Booth’ installed on MG Marg in Gangtok was inaugurated by Gangtok constituency legislator Dilay Namgyal Barfungpa.

Members of the public can visit the photo booth and take photographs free of charge. This arrangement during the golden jubilee celebrations has added to the enthusiasm of both tourists and locals. The Sikkim government has planned various programs to make this historic occasion grand and memorable.
