Progress of Russian Military Operation: 290 Ukrainian Soldiers Killed, 530 Drones Destroyed

Moscow — According to a fresh update released by the Russian Defence Ministry on Saturday, the Vostok (East) Group of Forces continued advancing into the depth of enemy defenses, inflicting fire damage on formations of two air assault brigades, two assault brigades, and three assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The ministry reported that the enemy lost up to 290 troops, one armored personnel carrier, six armored fighting vehicles, four pickup trucks, and two artillery guns.
Meanwhile, the Dnepr Group of Forces inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of three mechanized brigades of the AFU. More than 50 troops, two armored fighting vehicles, 19 motor vehicles, one field artillery gun, and three electronic warfare stations were neutralized, the ministry stated.
Russian operational-tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops, and artillery have engaged storage and launch areas of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, transport and energy infrastructure facilities used in the interests of the AFU, as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed groups and foreign mercenaries in 140 areas. Air defense systems shot down seven guided aerial bombs, two US-made HIMARS MLRS projectiles, and 530 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the ministry claims the enemy has lost 671 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 138,052 unmanned aerial vehicles, 656 anti-aircraft missile systems, 29,051 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,709 MLRS combat vehicles, 34,618 field artillery guns and mortars, and 60,208 units of support military vehicles.
