‘May 9 Victory Parade Will Go Ahead as Scheduled’ – Peskov

Kathmandu — Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov has made it clear that the May 9 Victory Day parade will take place as scheduled. He has presented the Kremlin’s official stance on various recent developments.

Regarding the Ukraine-Israel grain dispute, Peskov stated that the Kremlin would offer no comment, saying, “Let the Kiev regime sort things out with Israel on its own, and let Israel sort things out with the Kiev regime.” He also informed that appropriate measures are being taken to mitigate the damage from the drone attack on Tuapse.

Press Secretary Peskov said that President Vladimir Putin will convene a special meeting to ensure security for the upcoming elections. He added that if a telephone conversation takes place between Putin and US President Donald Trump, the Kremlin will disclose the information.

Noting that intensive efforts are underway to prevent strikes by the Kiev regime on Russian territory, Peskov clarified that details of locations affected by attacks will remain undisclosed. He further stated that Russia considers it important for the situation in Mali to return to a peaceful and stable course as soon as possible.
