Russia–Kyrgyzstan Legal Consultations: Emphasis on International Justice and Multilateral Coordination

Kathmandu — Consultations have been held in Moscow aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation between Russia and Kyrgyzstan on international legal matters. According to the official channel of the Legal Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the consultations were held on April 29 under the Cooperation Program between the foreign ministries of the two countries for 2025–2027.

The Russian delegation was led by Mikhail Musikhin, Director of the Legal Department, while the Kyrgyz side was represented by Zh.E. Kozhobekova, Director of the International Legal Department of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The two sides reviewed in detail a wide range of international legal issues of mutual interest. Special attention was devoted to the subject of international justice, and the desire to coordinate work on the platforms of multilateral organisations was affirmed. The parties also exchanged experiences of international legal services in various fields, including international treaty practice.
