Russian Defence Minister Congratulates Troops Who Liberated Ilyinovka in Donetsk People’s Republic

Kathmandu — Russian Defence Minister Andrei Belousov has congratulated the command and personnel of the 10th Guards Tank Regiment and the 77th Separate Motorised Rifle Regiment for successfully liberating the settlement of Ilyinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Addressing the 10th Guards Tank Regiment, Belousov said, “Soldiers of the regiment, loyal to the Fatherland, have come to its defence and are honourably fulfilling the tasks of the special military operation. The courage and bravery of the military personnel allow them to successfully carry out combat missions and make a tremendous contribution to the overall advancement of the Group of Forces, bringing closer the day of our common victory over neo-Nazism.”

Of the 77th Motorised Rifle Regiment, he stated, “Motorised riflemen in the battles for the freedom and independence of Donbass have repeatedly proved that they are worthy followers of the traditions of their ancestors, who protected the world from fascism. As a result of professional and resolute actions, the enemy suffered significant losses and was routed on the battlefield.”

Defence Minister Belousov thanked the servicemen for successfully carrying out combat missions and for their loyalty to military duty, expressing confidence that the perseverance and professionalism of the soldiers would ensure the security of the borders of the Russian Federation.
