Chongye (Lhokha). The fifth edition of the ‘Yarbong-Chongye’ mass running competition held in Chongye County, Lhokha City, concluded with great enthusiasm. A notable feature that distinguished this year’s event from previous editions was the remarkable participation of workers from various industrial zones in Chongye.
To amplify the event’s reach, the county’s communication and information office produced and disseminated special visual content. According to the office, over 200 photographs and video materials were broadcast throughout the competition, which were viewed live by more than 3.6 million people across various platforms.
Organisers stated that the involvement of industrial workers alongside local residents made the competition more engaging and inclusive. This has further strengthened the event’s objective of promoting community unity and a healthy lifestyle through sports.
The competition has already established itself as a popular mass sporting activity in Chongye County, with participation and public interest growing with each edition.
