Two Arrested with Brown Sugar Hidden in Rectum in Urlabari

Morang. Two individuals have been arrested with the illicit drug brown sugar from Golchowk in Urlabari Municipality-7. A team deployed from the Area Police Office, Urlabari, discovered the drugs during a routine check of a motorcycle with registration number Pra.1-02-050 Pa 1960.

Police took into custody the driver, 29-year-old Keshav Shrestha, a resident of Urlabari-6, and the pillion rider, 24-year-old Nischal Gurung, a resident of Urlabari-5. During the search, a brown, sticky substance resembling brown sugar was recovered from Shrestha’s rectum, weighing 18 grams and 920 milligrams including the plastic wrapping, and 14 grams and 720 milligrams excluding the plastic.

Similarly, drugs were also recovered from Gurung’s rectum, weighing 11 grams including the plastic wrapping, and 9 grams and 400 milligrams excluding the plastic. Police stated that both individuals have been taken into custody along with the drugs and further investigation is underway.
