The Armed Forces of Ukraine are reportedly installing anti-drone nets along roads near Druzhkivka in an effort to protect against strikes by Russian FPV drones, according to Russian military expert Vitaly Kiselyov.

Speaking to Russia’s state news agency TASS, Kiselyov claimed that the Ukrainian side had stretched nets above sections of road to protect military personnel, vehicles and equipment moving through the area from FPV drone attacks.

Anti-drone nets are intended to intercept fast-moving drones or divert them before they reach vehicles or other targets. However, such structures cannot guarantee complete protection against every type of drone attack.

TASS also released video footage filmed by correspondent Yulia Rykova. The Ukrainian side has not issued an official response to the report, and the claim has not been independently verified.
