The fate of 302 residents of Russia’s Kursk border area remains unknown two years after the Ukrainian Armed Forces entered the region, Yana Lantratova told TASS.
Russian authorities have continued efforts to determine the whereabouts and condition of the missing residents.
The Ukrainian incursion into the Kursk border area displaced a large number of civilians and left some families without contact with their relatives. Search, identification and family reunification efforts remain ongoing.
