House of Representatives Meets Today, Mines and Minerals Bill on Agenda

A meeting of Nepal’s House of Representatives is scheduled to be held today at 1:00 pm at Singha Durbar.

According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the possible agenda includes a proposal to consider the Mines and Minerals Bill, 2083.

Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gauri Kumari is expected to present the proposal before the House.

Two parliamentary committee meetings are also scheduled for today.

The Public Accounts Committee will meet at 11:00 am to discuss records and documents destroyed in fires during the protests and related incidents of Bhadau 23 and 24, 2082.

The Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee will also meet at 11:00 am. Its agenda includes a discussion on the digital economy.
