Yash’s ‘Toxic’ Builds Momentum With Hyderabad Event Ahead of August 26 Release

A major pre-release event for Yash’s much-anticipated film “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups” is scheduled to take place in Hyderabad on Saturday ahead of its worldwide theatrical opening.
The event will begin at 5 p.m. at Mallareddy University, with Yash and members of the film team expected to attend. The film is scheduled for global release on August 26.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, “Toxic” stars Yash alongside Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth.
The movie was shot simultaneously in Kannada and English and is also being prepared for audiences in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
Yash plays a character named Raya, while promotional material presents a dark world shaped by crime, power and conflicting loyalties.
Following an extended production period and changes to its release schedule, “Toxic” has emerged as one of the major Indian theatrical releases of 2026, with expectations extending well beyond the Kannada-language market.
