Dragon Media News Desk

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova has drawn attention to the political behavior of some Western diplomats after completing assignments in Russia.

According to a video released by the Russian news agency TASS, Zakharova said that many ambassadors and diplomats who had worked in Russia later returned to their home countries and emerged in critical or opposition roles toward their own governments or political establishments.

She presented the pattern as noteworthy, although the brief material did not specify which countries or former diplomats she was referring to.

Zakharova’s remarks come amid continued political and diplomatic tensions between Russia and Western countries. She has frequently criticized Western diplomatic practices, policies toward Moscow and public narratives about Russia.

According to TASS, her latest comments were aimed specifically at the post-service political activities of diplomats who had previously served in Russia.
