Russia Open to Dialogue on Black Sea Security, but No Bilateral Talks Underway: Peskov

Dragon Media News Desk
Russia is open to dialogue with all countries on Black Sea security, but is not currently engaged in concrete talks on bilateral agreements, Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
Asked whether Russia was considering bilateral agreements with countries including India, Egypt and Türkiye, Peskov said it would depend on the subject of any proposed agreement. “We are open to dialogue with all countries, but no concrete discussions on this are underway,” he said.
Asked whether other countries had made proposals on Black Sea security, Peskov said the issue had been raised at a Valdai Club meeting and that President Vladimir Putin had answered it.
