Saudi Arabia has provided humanitarian aid to the Government of Nepal through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre. Saudi Ambassador to Nepal Fahad bin Mohammed bin Mnaikhir handed the supplies to Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation Mahabir Pun.

Pun thanked the Saudi leadership for the assistance, saying it reflected the friendship between the two countries.

The Saudi Embassy said a team of specialists from the centre would coordinate with Nepali agencies to distribute the supplies to flood-affected people.
