Indirect U.S.–Iran Talks Continue; Tehran Reviewing Seven-Day Plan Proposal

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that representatives of Iran and the United States were continuing to exchange messages through intermediaries. He said the negotiating process remained ongoing.

Araghchi said Iran had put forward a proposal known as the “seven-day plan” and that Iranian representatives had heard the U.S. side’s views on it.

Tehran is now reviewing Washington’s position, and Iran is expected to respond within the next few days, he said.
