10 Militants Killed in Security Operation in Southwestern Pakistan

Ten militants were killed in an intelligence-based security operation in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province, security sources said on Saturday.

The operation was carried out in Barkhan district after reports that suspected militants were present in the area. A substantial quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered, the sources said.

Ziaullah Langove, adviser on home affairs to the Balochistan chief minister, said the militants were affiliated with the banned Balochistan Liberation Army.
