Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy has warned that vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz with their navigation and identification systems switched off will be considered hostile.
In a statement, the Navy’s press office said such vessels would face “severe punishment.”
The IRGC also claimed that three oil tankers attempting to cross the strait in violation of Iranian rules had struck naval mines and caught fire since the previous day.
