Medical Experts Provide Free Services to More Than 50 People in Hongyuan

A medical team led by the Third Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine held a free health clinic in Hongyuan County, Sichuan Province, on October 10. More than 50 local residents received care at Hongyuan County People’s Hospital.
Specialists in respiratory medicine, critical care, cardiology, gynecology, nephrology and geriatric medicine examined and advised patients. They explained test results and recommended treatment, medication and recovery plans.
The team also provided guidance on health problems common at high altitudes, chronic disease management and safe medication use. Alongside the clinic, the specialists surveyed common high-altitude illnesses and treatment challenges, identifying gaps and needs in local health services to inform targeted support and strengthen primary care.
