Ceasefire in Alyoshki Humanitarian Zone Ends; Russian Ombudswoman Says Both Sides Honoured Commitments

The ceasefire established for a humanitarian mission in Alyoshki, Kherson Region, has ended. Both sides honoured their commitments, Russian Human Rights Ombudswoman Yana Lantratova said.

According to Lantratova, the ceasefire allowed aid to reach residents and enabled those who wished to leave the city to depart safely and voluntarily. She made the statement on her Max messaging channel.

Efforts are now underway to continue the humanitarian operations, Lantratova said. She stressed the importance of maintaining the cooperation that helped residents and making deliveries of humanitarian supplies regular.
