One Civilian Killed, Eight Injured in Attack on Commuter Bus in Luhansk Region, Pasechnik Says

One civilian was killed and eight people were injured in an attack on a commuter bus in the territory Russia refers to as the Luhansk People’s Republic, regional head Leonid Pasechnik said.

Pasechnik said the bus was travelling on the Luhansk–Zymohiria route when it was attacked on the road between Rodakove and Zhovte in the Slavianoserbsk municipality. In a post on social media, he said preliminary information indicated that one person had died and eight had been injured.

Pasechnik accused Ukraine of targeting civilians. The incident and responsibility for the attack have not been independently verified, and no response from the Ukrainian side was available.
