Russian Envoy Accuses Ukrainian Forces of Targeting Zaporizhzhia Plant Workers

Russia’s Permanent Representative to international organisations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, has accused Ukrainian forces of deliberately targeting civilian employees of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP).

Ulyanov made the accusation while commenting on the death of another plant employee in a drone attack. “The Ukrainian Armed Forces are literally hunting down the plant’s civilian staff,” he wrote on X.

The plant earlier reported that two civilians, including a woman who worked there, were killed when a drone struck their car. The ZNPP said three of its employees have been killed in Ukrainian attacks over the past two weeks.
